Despite having his first driver in 4 races finish 25th or worse, Slotcarguy heads into the open weekend maintaining a sizeable lead over the field. I'd say the first 4 races of the 2010 NASCAR season have delivered the thrills and spills we all crave as race fans. Kurt Busch outlasted Kenseth, Montoya and Kahne in Atlanta to claim his first win of the season. Unfortunately, none of us got to celebrate in victory lane with him and the Blue Duece. We got snookered by the likes of Edwards, Martin and Gordon while Menard, Allmendinger, Vickers and Speed grabbed spots in the top ten finishing order. Caused a seismic shift in the standings of ScarmanRacing. Only five teams managed to crack the 50 point barrier while nine teams topped the 90 point threshold. Leading the way was burtwolfe with 43 points. Quite a recovery the past two weeks to climb out of the cellar and get back into the game. Akracing and Scarman both posted 44 points while TGrace(48) and whocares(49) rounded out the top five scores. Yankeefreak99 took a hit with a total score of 106! Lots of movers and losers but hey, it's early in the season. TGrace(14th) moved up 12 positions Losers: Off this weekend before pulling into Bristol on March 21st. That should give the 99 and the 12 a few extra days to cool down after the dustup on the front stretch last Sunday. Best advice....leave the white gloves in the toolbox. It's to easy to see where those hands are located on the steering wheel. The Race Coordinator. |
